If you have a large, an ever increasing music collection, and you want to keep it nicely organized, then you need to try out Jajuk. This free, Java-based application is ideally suited for advanced users who want powerful features to help them manage a scattered music collection.

There are two ways to try Jajuk: you can try Jajuk online on its official webpage, or you can install it on your machine. As mentioned above, Jajuk is Java-based, meaning that it will run on any Java capable systems. If you have a Windows-powered machine, you will be able to easily install Jajuk in the language of your choice (several other languages apart from English are supported).

When you launch Jajuk for the fist time, you are presented with a Quick Start Wizard that assists you in building your music collection. This wizard will ask you to pick the directory where you keep your music and choose the refresh device interval. Once you go through this wizard, you are presented with the application's interface that features buttons for all the functionality it has to offer on the left hand side.

The powerful functionality Jajuk has to offer will help you efficiently manage your ever growing music collection. It can even help you increase that collection by telling you what other albums an artist has released and by presenting a list of similar artists.

When it comes to playing your audio tracks (MP3, OFF, FLAC, AAC, WMA, APE, and other formats are supported), Jajuk has powerful functionality to offer as well. Here are some of the functions you can expect to get from the application: randomly play tracks, play your favorite tracks, play the newest albums, play the tracks in a playlist, and more.

Jajuk is a free and open source project released under a GNU General Public License. You can use the application for free and, if you have the skills and the time, help make Jajuk better.

Powerful functionality and a user friendly approach to managing an increasing music collection, that’s what you get from the free Jajuk application.

Pros

Jajuk provides support for multiple languages and for many audio file formats. As it is Java-based, it runs on just about any platform; you can also try the application online. Jajuk provides powerful functionality to help you manage your music collection. Jajuk is free and open source.

Cons

None that I could think of.
